Everything runs on your device. There's no VocalDoc Pro server, so there's nothing of yours sitting on one.

Questions
Yes — narration and most editing tools run entirely on your device and work fully offline. Only signing in with Google needs a connection.
No. Your PDFs, Word files, and generated audio stay on your device — there's no VocalDoc Pro server for them to go to.
Yes — playback starts as soon as page one is ready, while the rest keeps narrating in the background.
Honestly — no. True PDF encryption isn't supported. The "Unlock" tool only removes permission restrictions, not a password required to open a file.
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Google Play — open the Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions.
Account & data
VocalDoc Pro has no backend server — there is no separate copy of your account or data anywhere for us to delete. Deleting it on your device is the entire process, and you can do it two ways.
Open VocalDoc Pro → Profile → Sign out, which permanently clears your cached name, email, and profile photo from the device. Delete individual documents or audio files anytime from the Library and Downloads screens.
Don't have the app installed anymore? Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, find VocalDoc Pro, and remove its access. This revokes the sign-in connection on Google's side immediately.

VocalDoc Pro turns your PDF and Word documents into narrated audio, and includes tools for editing those documents, entirely on your Android device. This policy explains what information the app touches, what it never touches, and the choices you have.
Signing in with Google is entirely optional and only personalizes your profile screen. If you choose to sign in, we read your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. This is stored locally on your device to display your name and photo in the app — it is not transmitted to us, because we don't operate a server that could receive it.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment method, card number, or billing address — that data is handled under Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
VocalDoc Pro does not run analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs as of this policy's effective date. We don't track your usage across other apps or websites, and we don't build an advertising profile of you.
Nothing in this section is uploaded, backed up to a server, or shared — because no such server exists for this app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only outside services the app talks to are:

Everything described above is stored in the app's private storage area on your device, inaccessible to other apps. It stays there until you remove it — by deleting a document, deleting a downloaded audio file, signing out, or uninstalling the app, at which point Android removes the app's private storage automatically.
Because there is no VocalDoc Pro server, there is no separate copy of your data anywhere for us to retain or delete on your behalf — deleting it on your device is the whole story.
VocalDoc Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information through the app, contact us and we'll address it.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Since the app doesn't collect an email list, we won't be able to notify you directly — check back here occasionally, especially before a major app update.
